Our History — How we harnessed healthcare disruption to reimagine the future for 25 private practices
Facing soaring operating costs and plummeting reimbursement rates, 25 private practice orthopaedic groups – representing 128 physicians across more than 50 locations – banded together with one unifying mission: preserve the quality of patient care only found in the private practice model. The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics (CAO) was born.
The same physicians that successfully pioneered a new model for private practice care have painstakingly developed MedVanta, a next-generation MSO that private MSK practices turn to for solving their current and future challenges.
We aren’t beholden to outside investor influence. Our focus and mission are resolute — supporting the evolution and advancement of private practice medicine to not only survive, but thrive in a value-based landscape, so patients receive the best possible care.
